General La Fayette C. Baker...In the early years of the Civil War, he was a spy in the Union Army (under General Winfield Scott). From 1862 to 1863, as Provost Marshal of Washington D.C., he ran the National Detective Bureau. In 1865, he was recalled to Washington D.C., to investigate the assassination of President Abraham Lincoln. Through brutal interrogation, he was successful in his investigation, identifying John Wilkes Booth and the other conspirators. HISTORY:
A couple of months ago, I was going through the inventory from my collectibles store that I closed in 2001. I came across many interesting collectibles that I had acquired...and long forgotten about!
    All
of my vintage items that I offer for auction are from that store…which I owned from 1996-2001, located at Northpark Shopping Mall, Davenport, Iowa. Since 2001, the collectibles inventory from my shop has been stored in a climate-controlled, smoke-free environment.
    RETURNS and REFUNDS:
I do not ordinarily accept returns.
I would only consider the possibility of a return if there is a completely unavoidable, valid circumstance, AND NO damage or modification to the purchased item. I am not a mass consumer merchandiser…most of my auction items are One of a Kind! Any complaints about items purchased must be made within 3 (three) days of the buyer's package arrival.
Please inspect the photos carefully and feel free to request additional photos or information before bidding.
