Description
This alternate version of the Civil War was written by E. A. Pollard and published in New York by Charles B. Richardson. This set of books on the War Between the States is the Southerners view of the War and has a copy of the Confederate States of America constitution in the back of Volume 1 with 20 steel engraved plates in the set of books. The condition is as follows: The steel plates have water damage to most of them, light foxing, with a couple having severe foxing. Volume 1 has some water damage, the binding is tight with one exception which is where it was folded all the way open and broke the binding. Volume 2 is in rougher condition with the front cover loose, 80% of the spine cover is gone, one or two fly leaf pages are missing and 1 page in front is loose. The first 30 pages of the book are a little loose. Both have light foxing on all pages and most are fairly clean with light water damage and some browning or spotting from age. The books are a good readable set that can be recovered.Powered by SixBit's eCommerce Solution
