vintage National Airlines items from the 60's/70's!
My Aunt worked for National for many Years. Her name was "JOY" as indicated on one of the Match Books as well as a Match Book of a good Friend of Hers "Penny". Pretty cool promotion National used with the names of Stewardesses and the tag line FLY ME! Of course TV and Magazine ads had a picture of a stunning Gal in Hot Pants! Boy that would not fly Today, pardon the pun! The "Fly Me" theme even extended to our great Country's Bicentennial Birthday in 1976 (see Pin!) Also included are 2 general promotional Matchbooks from National and
ALL 4 Match Books pictured are in amazing condition completely intact with ALL matches unstruck (except for 2 in one book!)
The
Two "We Care" Badges
was another promotion tag line used with National Airlines and they are in
very good condition
