    For superior weldability, our fittings are precision CNC machined in house of grade 304 Stainless. Each one is individually test fitted with an actual sensor before packaging.
    Avoid imitations
    Call them whatever you want: weld fittings / mounting bosses (OE style) for Ford 6.4 and 6.7 Powerstroke and 3.2 liter Duratorq Diesel EGT sensors. No longer will an expensive particulate filter, or other emissions aftertreatment component need to be replaced if a seized temperature sensor breaks off inside its mounting boss. You may have already discovered the hard way that these sensors aren't exactly lifetime components... Furthermore, the extreme temperatures associated with the exhaust filter self cleaning process tends to fuse the sensor within its boss. This causes the sensor to frequently break off inside when trying to replace it. Even with an acetylene torch heating it cherry red, the sensor may break, and sometimes the entire EGT boss will break from the pipe too. These circumstances previously made it necessary to replace the entire aftertreatment component - usually a particulate filter (DPF) at a cost in the thousands of dollars, but no longer. Now you can simply weld one of these in place of the old one, or drill a hole and weld it next to the old one, then install a new sensor. Also, this can be used to replace the EGR Temp A (lambda) sensor bung located in the right manifold to turbo up-pipe on 6.4's as they use the same thread pitch and seat.  This will work with 6.4, 6.7, and 3.2 liter Ford Powerstroke Diesels, and this listing is for the threaded weld fitting only, the sensor is sold separately at your local Ford dealership or auto parts store. Also note, this is for Factory style EGT sensors only which have a 12mm thread pitch, and these have a precision machined shrouded seat in the bottom to seal against the Ford style sensor. There are a lot of various threaded fittings on Ebay, but these are the correct shrouded style for use with the Ford/Navistar original style EGT sensors (Ford / Motorcraft sensor middle part number 12B591 or 5J213 and Navistar 3006421C1 or equivalent). Aftermarket EGT sensors for pyrometer gauges and performance tuners use a different temperature probe with a different thread pitch and no seat.
