    Description

Offered is an unused real photo postcard depicting a group of Native Americans gathered in the street in Rapid City South Dakota. Likely 1905.
Two different stores are visible in the image. John C Haines Department Store and J R Daly Grocery Store. The Indians are in full native garb. A few have rifles and a few wear full headdress. There are also well dressed Non-Indians on both sides. Unused and undated, but this might be for a celebration of rodeo. This does have an unusual Sailboat stamp box (1905-08). The image was poorly exposed, but otherwise is clean and good. See the scans.
