    Description

    Vintage Blue Vase or Pot by Newcomb Art Pottery potter Kenneth E. Smith. Smith joined the Newcomb Art School in 1929 to supervise the technical direction of the pottery; he was on the faculty until 1946.
    Vase has a very faint hairline extending from the rim about 2", some crazing, overall good vintage condition.  Please see photos for more details and information. Vase is approximately 3.25" tall. It will display nicely.  Made from red/brown  clay. The interior of the pot has thick drippy blue glaze and indentations from the pressing of the clay. Pot is marked Kenneth E Smith in a circle.
