    932 Postcard QUANAH PARKER'S DAUGHTERS, Comanche - 1891 Photo James Mooney
    Daughters of the powerful Comanche War Chief who refused to accept the terms of the 1867 Medicine Lodge Treaty, which would have sent his band to Indian Territory. Quanah Parker remained free for the next seven years finally surrendering to General Randal MacKenzie and accepting the government's terms and confinement on a reservation.
    Quanah had eight wives and twenty-five children (some of whom were adopted).
    New postcard .. no issues. Measures approximately 4” X 6”.
