    The book is signed by the original owner twice with the name KIDDER, There are several caterers in the Civil War database including a KIDDER BREESE who was quite famous, but there is no authentication as to who the owner actually was
    This book has many condition issues, including separation and chipping around the spine this leather hardback book shows tremendous rubbing of the boards as it is held loosely by strings, there are several loose pages and watch the book has nearly 800, the pages do show foxing.
    Note the book is not complete because previous owners apparently have taken out the illustrations which were accompanied by tissue paper, there appears to be only one left, but see the photo that has a list of illustrations which are engraved onto the pages of the text.
    USED CONDITION, MAY HAVE SOME IMPERFECTIONS OF SLIGHT WEAR.  PLEASE SEE ALL PHOTOS AND DESCRIPTION FOR THE DETAILED CHARACTERISTICS OF THIS TREMENDOUS COLLECTIBLE ITEM... ABSOLUTELY TREMENDOUS !!!
