The valve timing is uncertain, however it is fast acting. Less than one second.
Vacuum function is possible with the valve installed in the reverse position.
Mounting position is preferably coil up but can be mounted in any position.
*Consult a chemical compatibility expert for correct seal and valve body material choice.
*Duty Cycle – Like most solenoid valves the coil will become hot to the touch when left on continuously. The temperature will stabilize without failure. Leaving the valve powered on for long periods of time will reduce the life of the coil. Whenever possible the valve should be installed in a well ventilated are to increase the life of the coil. The valve is not intended to be left energized as a fail-safe for power outages. In this case please contact us for other options.
A pre-filter is always recommended to keep the diaphragm free from debris and the valve functioning properly.
